A special issue, with "Future Direction of Reticular Chemistry" as the theme, was published by Nano Research, on the occasion of 2019 Nano Research Award presented to Prof. Xinhe Bao and Prof. Omar M. Yaghi. An editorial from three of the guest editors (Prof. Yue-Biao Zhang, Prof. Hexiang Deng, and Qiaowei) was presented with other 30 great articles in the issue.

Our new work "An Imine-Linked Metal-Organic Framework as a Reactive Oxygen Species Generator" was accepted by Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. In this article, we reported the synthesis of a MOF using a COF method, and showed that it can generate ROS thanks to its redox-active and photo-active functions. This is a collaboration with Prof. Tao Yi at Donghua University, and Xiaomin Li is the first author.

This is a joint piece contributed by Prof. Omar Yaghi (UC Berkeley), Prof. Yue-biao Zhang (ShanghaiTech), Prof. Hexiang Deng (Wuhan U.), and me together. This work was also featured on the cover of the October Issue of the journal.

The 3rd Fudan-UC Berkeley Symposium on Materials Beyond will be on May 26th!
Fudan University and University of California, Berkeley scientists hold periodic Fudan – Berkeley Global Science Institute workshops, titled "The Materials Beyond". These workshops bring together prominent research scientists from the US and China in order to exchange information and ideas in regards to the development and applications of nanomaterials that hold promise of great impact on renewable energy technologies and potential solutions for local and global environment issues.
Materials Beyond III will be on May 26th, 2016 at Fudan University. This symposium is organized by Omar M. Yaghi (Berkeley), Peidong Yang (Berkeley), Dongyuan Zhao (Fudan) and Qiaowei Li (Fudan). Confirmed Speakers include Stefan Wuttke, LMU Munich; Nanfeng Zheng, Xiamen University; Akif Tezcan, UC San Diego; Peng Yin, Harvard University; Christopher Chang, UC Berkeley; Jwa-Min Nam, Seoul National University; Haw Yang, Princeton University; Zhiyong Tang, China National Center for Nanoscience and Technology; and Hongkun Park, Harvard University.
